This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a Business Analyst Intern at CGI Federal. Over the course of ten weeks, I was immersed in a dynamic environment, contributing to developing a systems integration tool and helping to guide it from concept to a feasible product. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of project management and systems integration. My involvement as a Presidential Student Ambassador helped me bring the variety of skills I developed and refined through our workshops to my time at CGI. These experiences have equipped me with essential leadership skills, which I brought into my internship at CGI Federal.
One of the highlights of my internship was co-leading a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project alongside other talented interns. Our efforts paid off when our project was awarded first place, a moment of pride and validation for our hard work and collaboration.
Additionally, I had the privilege of working on a capstone project focused on utilizing artificial intelligence in business development. This project sharpened my analytical skills and broadened my perspective on the practical applications of AI in the corporate world. Our team's innovative approach led us to win the Best Overall Capstone award.
Moreover, my experience as a PSA equipped me with essential leadership skills, which I brought into my internship at CGI Federal. Whether co-leading the CSR project or contributing to the capstone, my role as a PSA taught me the importance of collaboration, initiative, and community engagement.
My time at CGI Federal was an enriching experience filled with learning opportunities that allowed me to refine and acquire new skills. This internship has solidified my passion for business analysis and reinforced my commitment to pursuing a potential career in this field.
